VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER The vehicle identification number (VIN) is on a stamped plate on the left front corner on the body of the vehicle, visible through the windshield. The dealer that sold you your new vehicle has the key code numbers for your vehicle locks. These numbers can be used to order duplicate keys from your dealer.
